Victory Dream Center is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Director of Administration to oversee the organization's daily administrative operations and ensure the efficient functioning of all support services. This leadership role is responsible for managing administrative staff, developing organizational systems, overseeing office operations, supporting executive leadership, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The Director of Administration plays a vital role in creating an environment that enables the organization to effectively fulfill its mission and serve the community with excellence.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all administrative functions of the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Manage office operations, facilities, equipment, and administrative resources.
  • Oversee organizational records management and document retention practices.
  • Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, board support, and organizational events.
  • Develop and monitor departmental budgets and ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to improve operational efficiency and cross-functional communication.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, organizational policies, and nonprofit best practices.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and administrative service providers.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and organizational growth.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational, financial, employee, and client information.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and operational updates for executive leadership and the Board of Directors as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and administrative software systems.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, ministry, or community-based organization.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit governance, grant administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and project management.
